HORIBA introduces the new standard of transportable sulfur-in-oil analyzers, the SLFA-6000 Series (SLFA-6100 & SLFA-6800). These analyzers have a new software and hardware features to meet the growing changes in the petroleum industry. The instruments have expanded storage of calibration curves and data can be exported using USB output.
This new model can measure a wider range of sulfur content. With an expanded range to measure from 0-9.9999 wt% sulfur due to the higher sulfur concentrations of crude and shale oil markets, these analyzers meet the advancing scientific field. Measurement time ranges from 10 to 600 seconds. Measurement samples include sulfur in petroleum products such as heavy oil, naphtha, crude oil and light oil.

MESA-7220
The MESA-7220 delivers the latest innovation in field measurement of S, Cl, and other elements in petroleum-based products. This analyzer is based on the latest advances in Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) technology. It utilizes a proprietary X-ray optical technology and produces a polarized, mono-chromatic X-ray source. This approach is critical for a user to achieve an ultra-low noise background for the best limits of detection for S, Cl and other elements. This provides excellent performance at high concentration (multiple wt. % levels), simultaneous multi-element analysis, and applicability over a wide range of sample types and excellent low ppm capabilities. The MESA-7220 performance is well established, as it is compliant with ASTM and ISO International Sulfur Determination Norms:

XPLORER-NS & XPLORER-TX/TS

The XPLORER-NS was developed as a total nitrogen/total sulfur combustion analyzer, and the XPLORER-TX/TS a total halogen and sulfur micro-coulometric combustion analyzer. Both instruments offer fast, precise analysis of all phases; liquids, solids, and gases (including LPG's). These instruments were designed to offer standardized and customized solutions to match both current and future analytical needs, with concentrations ranging from low ppb to high ppm.
